In the latest edition of Bloomberg’s Power On newsletter, Mark Gurman shared fresh details about Apple’s next major iPhone update, iOS 27. Rather than introducing sweeping visual changes, the company appears to be putting its attention on performance, stability, and overall efficiency this time around.
The report suggests Apple aims to “tidy up” its software by scrubbing out outdated code, fine-tuning existing apps, and making minor tweaks to its Liquid Glass interface. While these changes may seem subtle and take place mostly behind the scenes, they could potentially lead to improved battery life for iPhones that support the update.
