On January 10, 2006, Apple announced the first MacBook Pro. The laptop started shipping a month later.

A couple of weeks ago, we posted a clip from a previous podcast. That clip talked about Apple’s failure to make public any progress the company has made with AI. A lot of people responded to that clip. 

Apple would prefer to be the best, over the first. Not everyone wants Al unless it’s done right. I like their approach here.
